I know I’ve been MIA for a while in regard to this blog, and I apologize. I’ve been heads down creating a new cozy mystery series, and that’s been taking all of my time.
When a writer changes genres, it’s imperative to delve in and learn as much as you can about the craft as well as the readership, and that’s also what I’ve been doing.
My series is also under a pen name—Tanzy Kohl—so I’ve been engaged in setting up new social media and a website; I need to get the name out so that readers are introduced to it before the books release.
The series is about a wigmaker and YouTube wig reviewer who solves crimes. The series is called Wig Maker Mystery, and book one is entitled Lethal Lace Front.
So far, I’ve written the first two books and am 3/4 of the way through book three. The plan is to release the books every 4-6 months of eachother so I needed to have them all ready to go.
In addition to that, I am creating ARC materials for advanced readers.
Suffice to say I’ve been busy.
What I will say is that I do have a new historical fiction novel, one I’ve been working on for a few years, and that I am very excited about. More on that later.
Anyway, I hope you check out my series when it’s released and support it as you have my historical novels.
