This YA romantic version of mistaken identity is a retelling of the 1935 classic comedy “Top Hat” starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
During the 2020 pandemic, 16-year-old Jade Knight meets a great guy while working at the local grocery store, but soon she notices similarities between him and her best friend Neecy’s boyfriend. That’s when the drama begins.
Jade struggles to keep the two apart, and when she finally decides to confront the situation, she’s shocked to discover that Neecy is happy about her dating Bobby! Jade must decide whether to be a willing participant in a tacky love triangle or get out before she loses them both.
